Available on the AppStoreWhen my wife became pregnant, I looked around the App Store for a pregnancy progress app, but didn’t find anything I wanted. Things were either too clinical, too ‘pretty’ without delivering functionality, or just didn’t deliver the information I wanted.

Consequently, I wrote this.

Use the ‘back’ side of the application to enter an expected date of delivery, based on either the first day of the last period, or a date given by your physician, midwife or other health care professional. If you have a planned delivery date, enter that here too. This allow the application to tell you the times of things depending on theexpected date (such as gestation, time elapsed) and a known planned delivery date(such as time left).

The front side then gives a brief summary of how far the pregnancy is along, and how long there is to wait. If there is a planned delivery date, as well as an expected one, that’ll be included.

You can optionally display some of this information as a badge on the home screen icon – though there’s a limitation within the iPhone operating system that in order to update the badge you have to open the application.
