The latest version of UKPoints is now live on the AppStore. The major new feature is a Tracker so you can keep an eye on how much you’re eating and exercising.

Daylight for Mac 1.5

I’ve posted an update to Daylight for Mac, which supports Lion. In fact, it requires Lion – because:

  1. Requiring Lion allows me to delete several hundred lines of code and
  2. I no longer have any Snow Leopard Macs to test a Snow Leopard version on.

The current version adds only Lion type features – such as full screen. There will be future updates, and they will only support Lion.

A number of people have pointed out to be that the AppStore indicates they have an update available, but won’t let them install it, leaving the AppStore icon with an ugly bug. I can do nothing about this – this is a bug with the AppStore.

I have reported this bug to Apple (Bug ID# 9874084, via https://bugreport.apple.com) and I encourage anyone effected to do the same.

Distance2 & Distance2 Lite Updated

In response to use request, Distance2 (and the lite version) have been updated to support yards. I’m told this will make the app useful for golfers.

SmugGrabber Beta 4

Some of you will have noticed that beta 3 has expired. There’s a bug I’m meaning to fix, but just don’t have time at the moment.

There is a new beta, which is the same as beta 3 but won’t expire.

TweetMapper parsing issues

Changes in the Twitter api seem to have messed up the way TweetMapper extracts data from the updates which twitter sends – the dates are wrong, and search has stopped working.

I have an update underway to address this, which also uses XAuth authentication, which should have all the advantages of OAuth, but not be so clunky.

If anyone would like to help beta-test this please let me know via the contact form.

Daylight 1.3.1

A few people are still experiencing crashes related to changing setting – but I can’t reproduce them. I’ve therefore re-written the setting code from scratch – hopefully this will be a fix.
